Many women are pursuing higher education and careers, and for that reason are postponing marriage and childbirth.
Literal
Many [attributive-の] women [subject-が] more-higher education [and-と] career [object-を] pursue-[ren'yōkei-し], for-that-reason marriage [and-と] childbirth [object-を] postponement-[adverbial-に]-is-doing-[continuous-ている].
A formal/essayist sentence typical of social commentary. Two features to notice: (1) 追求し uses the 連用中止法 (ren'yōkei stem-form) instead of 追求して to link the clauses — a more written, literary variant of the ~て linker; and (2) それ故に ('therefore, for that reason') is a literary connective, far more formal than casual だから. より高い uses より adverbially as the comparative marker 'more.' 先延ばしにする is a set phrase 'to put off, to postpone,' built on the noun 先延ばし ('pushing forward').
