Could I have a taste?

Literal

Taste-see [causative-させて] receive-can [potential of もらう-もらえますか]?

A very Japanese way of politely asking to do something yourself. The causative-receiving pattern ~させてもらう literally means 'receive the letting-me-do-X' — structurally: you let me do X, and I receive that favor. It's the standard humble phrasing for 'may I X,' conveying deference by framing your own action as something the listener permits.
