びしょびしょ (soaking wet)

A state mimetic (擬態語) for 'soaking wet / drenched / soaked through,' typically of clothing, hair, or ground after rain. Often written in katakana (ビショビショ) for emphasis. Distinct from びっしょり and ずぶ濡れ as separate lexical items.
