counter 着 (clothing items)

The counter 着 (チャク) for items of clothing — primarily kimono and full outfits, but also extended to suits, jackets, and other complete garments. Distinct from 'counter 着 (finishing place)' for race/competition rankings, which shares the kanji and reading.
