できる限り (as much as possible)

The fixed adverbial expression できる限り (also written できるかぎり), 'as much as possible / to the extent one can / as far as one is able.' Built from the potential できる ('can do') + 限り ('limit'). Closely related to できるだけ; 限り leans slightly more formal/written.
