double negation

A construction that stacks two negative elements — producing a strong positive assertion ('no X without Y' = 'always Y with X'), intensified negation, or a hedged/softened affirmative ('まれではない' = 'is not rare' = 'is quite common'). Common in proverbs, formal statements, and understated writing.
