ぐしゃぐしゃ (crushed / soggy mess)

A state mimetic for being reduced to a ruined mess — either by mechanical crushing/crumpling (wrecked paper, crumpled clothes, mangled objects) or by thorough soaking (rain-drenched hair, waterlogged material). More severe than じめじめ (damp); implies the surface or object is unusable.
