恥ずべき (shameful, deserving of shame)

An attributive form preserved from classical Japanese: 恥ず (the bungo stem of 恥じる) plus the auxiliary べき ('should'). Together it means 'something one ought to be ashamed of.' Survives in modern Japanese as a fixed, slightly formal expression.
