一度も~ない (never)

The emphatic 'never' pattern: 一度も + negative predicate. Literally 'not even once.' The additive も is what flips 一度 from a neutral count to an emphatic negation. Works the same way as 全然~ない ('not at all'), 全く~ない ('completely not').
