紅茶 (Western black tea)

紅茶 ('crimson tea') is the Japanese word for Western-style black tea — Earl Grey, English Breakfast, and so on — named for the color of the brewed liquid. Distinct from 緑茶 ('green tea') and from the matcha of traditional 茶道.
