adverb + も (evaluative)

An evaluative pattern in which an adverb (or the adverbial form of a na-adjective) is followed by も to add a narrator's or speaker's commentary on the action: 賢明にも ('wisely enough'), 親切にも ('kindly enough'), 愚かにも ('foolishly'). The も injects an evaluative, sometimes ironic, sometimes admiring note on top of the adverb.
