生~ (intensifier prefix: raw/pure)

The native Japanese prefix 生 (なま, also き- in some compounds), originally 'raw, unprocessed, pure.' In personality compounds it intensifies the base trait: 生真面目 (very earnest), 生意気 (cheeky), 生兵法 (raw amateurism). Adds an unalloyed, almost excessive flavor.
