根っからの (to the core, born)

The expression 根っからの ('to the core, by nature, born X / X through and through'), literally 'from the root.' Modifies a noun to mean an inherent, deep-seated quality: 根っからのファン ('die-hard fan'), 根っからの音楽家 ('a born musician').
