の中に (inside)

The compound location phrase の中に, literally 'in the inside of / inside of,' used for static location within an enclosed space, or 'into / inside' as a destination. More explicit than bare に for container-style locations. の中 is the noun '(its) inside,' with に for location/destination. Compare の中で (location of action within) and の中から (source from inside).
