negative cleft (~のは~ではない/じゃない)

The negative counterpart of the のは~だ cleft: '[clause]のは[focus]ではない/じゃない' — 'what/the thing [clause]-es is not [focus].' Used to reject a misidentification or correct an expectation. ではない is the formal form, じゃない the casual contraction.
