~を連れて (taking along)

The te-form 連れて of 連れる ('to take along') used as a participial bridge: 'taking X along, ...' Marks the companion (often a child, pet, or person being shepherded) with を. Pairs naturally with verbs of motion: 連れて行く, 連れて来る, 連れて出かける.
