降りる + を (separation)

The verb 降りる ('get off, get down') takes its vehicle or starting-point with を rather than から — バスを降りる ('get off the bus'), 山を降りる ('come down the mountain'). The を marks the path or origin of separation, parallel to traversal を with motion verbs.
