~さん on non-humans (anthropomorphization)

Attaching the politeness suffix さん to animals, plants, or inanimate objects as a playful/childlike anthropomorphization: アリさん (Mr. Ant), お花さん (Miss Flower), お月さん (Mr. Moon). Common in speech to children, nursery rhymes, and cutesy speech.
