朱肉 (red ink pad for seals)

朱肉 (しゅにく) is the red/vermillion ink pad used with personal seals (印鑑/判子) in Japan. Seals are used instead of signatures for official documents, bank transactions, and contracts. Asking to borrow someone's 朱肉 is a common office interaction.
