育つ vs 育てる (intransitive/transitive raise)

The verb pair 育つ (intransitive 'grow up, be raised') and 育てる (transitive 'raise, bring up'). Used together they describe both sides of the upbringing process. 子供が育つ ('the child grows up') vs 子供を育てる ('raise the child').
