The colloquial use of すごい directly modifying a noun or adjective, in places where the prescribed adverb form すごく would be standard. すごい美人 ('an amazing beauty'), すごい美味しい ('really delicious'). Considered casual or slangy by purists but ubiquitous in spoken Japanese.
