得意 (being good at)

The na-adjective 得意 ('good at / proud of one's skill in / one's forte / strong point'), grammatically stative — the thing one is good at is marked with が: 料理が得意 ('good at cooking'). Pairs with 苦手 ('weak at / not good with') as its opposite.
