~とも (all of, both of)

The suffix ~とも attached to a number or quantifier noun to mean 'all of / both of / the whole' — 2人とも ('both of them'), 3つとも ('all three'), 兄弟とも ('both brothers'). Distinct from the sentence-final emphatic ~とも ('of course').
