~達 (plural marker)

The suffix 達 (たち) attached to a noun referring to people, marking explicit plurality — 子供達 ('the children'), 私達 ('we'), 選手達 ('the athletes'). Japanese nouns are normally unmarked for number; 達 makes plurality explicit when needed.
