和服 (Japanese traditional clothing)

和服 (わふく, literally 'Japanese clothing') is the formal collective term for traditional Japanese garments — kimono, yukata, hakama, and others — contrasting with 洋服 (ようふく, 'Western clothing'). Increasingly rare as everyday wear; mostly seen at festivals, ceremonies, and traditional occasions.
