noun + をする (leading a kind of life)

The pattern noun + をする used to express 'leading / having' a kind of state, often a life or behavior: 暮らしをする ('lead a life'), 経験をする ('have an experience'), 話をする ('have a conversation'). Lets adjectives modify the noun and so qualify the manner of the activity.
