~をする (wear accessories)

The light verb する used with accessory or cosmetic nouns to mean 'wear / put on / sport' — ネクタイをする ('wear a tie'), 指輪をする ('wear a ring'), 時計をする ('wear a watch'), 化粧をする ('wear make-up'), ベルトをする ('wear a belt'). Fills in where body-specific clothing verbs (着る for torso, 履く for legs/feet, かぶる for head) don't naturally apply.
