body-part attribution (X が形容詞)

The Japanese pattern of attributing a personal quality to a specific body part rather than the person as a whole: 頭がいい (smart), 足が速い (fast), 耳がいい (good ear), 口が悪い (sharp-tongued). The body part takes が as the subject of the descriptive predicate.
