~ざる (classical negative attributive)

The classical attributive form of the negative ~ぬ. Survives in fixed expressions and formal writing: 知らざる者 ('one who does not know'), やむを得ざる ('unavoidable'), 思わざる結果 ('unexpected result'). Stiffer and more literary than modern ~ない.
