羽振りが良い (doing well financially)

An idiom literally meaning 'wing-flapping is good,' used metaphorically for someone who is thriving, well-off, riding high, or wielding influence. The image is of a bird beating its wings vigorously, flying high. 羽振り is almost never used outside this expression. 羽振りが良かった = 'was doing well financially.'
