Heian court speech pastiche

Anime, manga, and period drama sometimes employ a stylized imitation of Heian-era aristocratic Japanese — complete with 麿 as first person, おじゃる copula, and elevated vocabulary — to mark a character as noble, old-fashioned, or comically archaic.
