もう (already / another / anymore)

The adverb もう, with multiple senses selected by context: (1) 'already / by now' with affirmative past or resultant-state predicates (もう食べた 'already ate'); (2) 'anymore / any longer' with negatives (もう行かない 'won't go anymore'); (3) 'another / one more' with counters (もう一つ 'one more', もう一度 'one more time'). The negative-and-additive senses split cleanly by polarity.
