N-は + しない (emphatic negation)

A syntactic splitting pattern where a would-be compound verb (X する) is broken into its noun component X + は + しない, emphatically negating that particular action: 勉強はしない ('I don't study'), 後悔はしない ('I'm not going to regret it').
