attributive の (adnominal)

The genitive particle の used to attach a noun-phrase modifier to a head noun: 子供の本 ('children's book'), 春の花 ('spring flowers'), その日暮らしの女 ('a hand-to-mouth woman'). Productive way to turn a phrase into an adjective-like modifier.
