の中から (from inside)

The compound expression [noun]+の中から, 'from inside / from among.' Combines locative 中 ('inside') with source-of-motion から. Common with selection or extraction verbs (選ぶ, 取り出す): 多くの中から選ぶ ('choose from among many'), 箱の中から ('from inside the box'). Variant: の中で ('among / within' — without source-of-motion).
