~をください (please give me)

The basic polite request pattern [noun]+を+ください, 'please give me X.' The direct object takes を, and ください follows without needing a verb. Written with kanji as 下さい or in kana as ください — the kana form is more conventional for the grammaticalized request use. Distinct from verb+て+ください (which requests an action).
